Air and power. On the air side, we suggest that you run our gates between 60-80 psi; 60 psi for the one and two-man gates and 70-80 psi for the eight man gates. For customers operating the gate in a place with no grid power, we can advise you on the proper equipment necessary to run your gate properly.
How many ShockStoppers do I need for my gate?
With the gate in the down position; if it takes two guys to lift the gate then you will need 4 ShockStoppers, it it takes three guys to lift the gate, you will need six ShockStoppers.
What’s the difference between a Straight-8 gate and an eight-rider Safety Gate?
There are two big differences. First, the Straight-8 is one solid gate for all 8 riders as opposed to the safety gate which is 8 individual gates that are mechanically synchronized to fall at the same exact time. The second difference is safety; you can literally have the safety gate fall on your foot and all you feel is a slight pinch.

What type of installation support do you provide?
We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for installation support via email, office phone, mobile phone or Skype.
Why is Pro Gate safer than the competition?
Our controls are 12V DC, making it impossible to get electrocuted; our competition uses 110V or 240V. If power is lost on a ProGate, the gate will not go down. We use five and seven-pin locking cables, so they can’t just be yanked out, they have to be unscrewed; which means there are no accidental gate drops with our cables. If you blow an air hose on one of our air ram systems, the gate will not slam down.
Why is ProStuff LLC better than the competition?
Pro Gate is the world standard, and UCI chose us for many reasons. We wrote the software for the random cadence for UCI. All of our gates are calibrated to the UCI international standard which we wrote the rules for. Our lights are much brighter than the competition, we use LED lights which will literally last 100-times longer. Our systems use less power and air which saves you money. Our gates are much more consistent due to the electronic and fluid power design. Our gates last much longer because they don’t hit the ground as hard as the competition. For the same reason, young riders are not scared to race when a Pro Gate is on the hill.
Add to that the fact that the 2006-2013 UCI World Championships, every UCI BMX Supercross race, the 2008 Beijing Olympics, 2010 Singapore Youth Olympics and 2012 London Olympics were all run on a Pro Gate and NEVER had a failure. When World titles, Olympic Medals or the 6-Novice main event at a local track are on the line, this is the line they’re talking about.
