Air and power. On the air side, we suggest that you run your new Pro Gate system at 60-80 psi; 60 psi for the one and two-man gates and 70-80 psi for the eight man gates.
For customers operating the gate in a place with no grid power, we can advise you on the proper equipment necessary to run your gate properly.
With the gate in the down position; if it takes two men to lift the gate then you will need four ShockStoppers, if it takes three men to lift the gate, you will need six ShockStoppers.
The Straight-8 is a single-length, flat drop section. It is used in on the 8-meter hill in BMX Supercross, as it the UCI spec, and is in use on hundreds of other Challenge class/amateur starting hills around the world.
Our “Crescent” gate features a “quarter-barrel” drop section, so the front of the gate is curved to prevent objects from accidentally finding their way into the path of the falling gate.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, wire transfers and checks, payable in USD.
We use cardboard boxes as well as wooden crates. Our wooden crates are constructed in accordance with ISPM 15 specifications which means they have been heat-treated, free of bark and are completely safe to enter another ecosystem.
We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for installation support via email, office phone, mobile phone or Skype.
Our controls are 12V DC, making it impossible to get electrocuted; our competition uses 110V or 240V. If power is lost on a ProGate, the gate will not drop unexpectedly.
We use five and seven-pin locking cables, so they can’t just be yanked out, they have to be unscrewed; which means there are no accidental gate drops with our cables.
If you blow an air hose on one of our air ram systems, the gate will not slam down.
Pro Gate is the world standard, and UCI chose us for many reasons. We wrote the software for the random cadence for UCI. All of our gates are calibrated to the UCI international standard which we helped develop.
Our lights are much brighter than the competition, we use LED lights which will literally last 100-times longer.
Our systems use less power and air which saves you money. Our gates are much more consistent due to the electronic and fluid power design. Our gates last much longer because they don’t hit the ground as hard as the competition. For the same reason, young riders are not scared to race when a Pro Gate is on the hill.
Add to that the fact that the 2006-2013 UCI World Championships, every UCI BMX Supercross race, the 2008 Beijing Olympics, 2010 Singapore Youth Olympics and 2012 London Olympics were all run on a Pro Gate and NEVER had a failure. When World titles, Olympic Medals or the 6-Novice main event at a local track are on the line, this is the line they’re talking about.
